What is the procedure if we want to take any of the services offered by you?
Just connect with us by phone call or email and express your interest. Initially, we shall discuss your requirements and expectations telephonically. As the next step forward, we may plan a face-to-face meeting at our office in Delhi/Chandigarh. Once we reach to an agreement, our team may visit your place to see the project site/school. Thereafter, if agreed upon, we may sign a contract/agreement.
What is your consultancy fee?
It varies from project to project as projects are of different sizes and levels. We make sure that our fees and charges are in accordance with the quality and standards of service that we provide. However, it would be the value of the investment that you make.
What licenses and permissions are required for starting a new school in India?
Starting a new school is a challenging task for anyone. However, The Future Schools manages it for you in a smooth and hassle-free manner. Some of the mandatory licenses and permissions are given here:
- Form a society/trust/company – Registration Certificate of the Trust/Society/Company
- Affidavit stating the Non-Proprietary character of the trust/society
- Memorandum of Association between the school and the Trust/Society/Company
- Land ownership documents, Sale deeds or Lease Deed
- Change of Land Use (CLU) certificate for the school land.
- Map of the planned school building; blueprint, layout, construction drawing, structuraldrawing, etc.
- Building Safety Certificate from PWD
- Water and sanitation certificate
- Letter of Recognition from the District Education Officer
- NOC issued by the education department of the state
- State Board Recognition
- Employees’ EPF and ESIC registration etc.
What is the estimated cost of setting up a new school in INDIA?
The cost of setting up a new school depends on multiple factors. Some of them are as under:
- Overall standards of the planned school
- Whether day, day boarding or a residential school
- Location of the school site
- Size or student intake capacity of the school
- Land value
- School design and infrastructure
- Inclusion of a number of facilities like sports infrastructure, auditorium, swimming pool etc.
- Construction material cost varies from place to place.

Land Requirement to open a School
- As per the affiliating boards (CBSE/ICSE), land requirements for schools in different locations such as hills, metro cities, other towns, and rural areas may be different.
- For big cities where investment in land is too high, any appropriate size of land as per the statuary compliance of the affiliating board may be appropriate. For example, CBSE may require a minimum 1600sqm/2000sqm/2400sqm/300sqm/3200sqm/4000sqm/6000sqm /8000sqmbased on school location. These permissions are subject to a restriction of optimum enrollments and the number of sections.
- The Future Schools recommend 04 acres or 16000 sqm of land to open a school.
